The Sandia A is a medium sized long red pepper with a moderately thick skin that is fabulous when roasted. It's mild heat is great on a day when you simply want the flavor and feeling of a hot pepper, without the blister that comes from some of our other species. With a foot and a half tall plant producing 1/2 a dozen full size peppers at a time, it's one of our favorites.
